WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO GET FROM THE CLUB
You will receive a number of rewards. First of all, you will be part of the raising of over $ 10,000 each year, all of which goes right back into our community to support such organizations as the Grand Blanc School projects, scholarships, McFarlen Library, Boys and Girls Scouts, community parks, Big Brothers - Big Sisters, Genesys Hospice,
Whaley Home and Children’s Miracle Network, FISH, Habitat for Humanity, Grand Blanc Heritage Museum, and the Genesee County Immunization Clinic. (And this is not a complete list!)
If there were no more value to being a member than seeing this kind of help being given to our community, membership would be well worth it. But, in addition, you will find that the Grand Blanc Kiwanis Club is a group of very unique, fun-loving, caring, and down-to-earth people who appreciate their own personal good fortunes and blessings, and sincerely want to belong to an organization that seeks to help those less fortunate than themseves.
Another benefit is the programs. Each week, we have a different member assigned to bring a guest speaker to the meetings. You will be amazed how much you’ll learn about a wide variety of subjects.
The bottom line of Kiwanis Membership is that "good feeling" that comes from serving the community and making good and long-lasting friendships. You will find that membership in this club is as rewarding to you as it is to those we serve!
